Mr. Curtis E. Jones, of Thomson Hwy. entered into rest on Tuesday, August 26 ^th which was his 81 ^st birthday.

Mr. Jones, son of the late Paul and Ruby Crozier Jones, was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County, had been employed by McCormick Mills, Mayfair Mills and retired from Lincoln County Public Works Dept. He attended Jones Chapel. His son, Ricky Eugene Jones preceded him in death.

Survivors: Wife of 56 years: Ellen Goldman Jones

Son: Kurt Jones and wife, Sherry

Grandchild: Daniel Paul Jones

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29 ^th at 3 p.m. at Jones Chapel with Rev. Paul C. Reviere officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Stanley Crozier, Kenny Cox, Robert Gunby, John Robert Gunby, Calvin Gunby, and Daniel McKellar

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 28 ^th from 7pm-9pm at the funeral home.
