Cornelia Combs Edmunds

Mrs. Cornelia Combs Edmunds, 94, formerly of Railroad Street, entered into rest at Petra Health and Rehab of McCormick on February 28, 2012. A native of Lincoln County, GA, Mrs. Edmunds was the daughter of the late Charles and Georgia Norman Combs. She was a homemaker and member of Buffalo Baptist Church where she was active in the Women's Missionary Union until her health declined. Her husband, Blease Edmunds preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter: Lynthia E. Brown and husband, Coke, of McCormick,SC; three grandchildren: Christopher Blease Brown, Sevierville, TN, David Coke Brown, McCormick, SC, and Jason Charles Brown, Parksville, SC; and a great-grandchild: Kailee Delane Brown. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. from the Buffalo Baptist Church, Highway 28 North, McCormick, SC. Interment will follow in McCormick City Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
