Lincolnton, GA- Mrs. Cora Lee Newman, 73, of Elberton Hwy. entered into rest March 25, 2013.

She was the beloved widow of the late James L. Newman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013 in the Chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Griffith and Rev. Michael Newman officiating.

Mrs. Newman was born in Hiawassee, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Claude Shook and the late Rosa Gibson Shook. She lived in Grovetown for many years before moving to Lincolnton. Mrs. Newman was a homemaker and member of Bride Age Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include her sons, Claude Newman and wife, Rebecca and Michael Newman and wife, Natalie; daughters, Lisa Quarles and husband, Tim, Sherry Collins and husband, Shane all of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Brandy Ledford, Timothy Quarles, Jr., Stephanie Roach, Alisha Quarles, James Collins, Michael Newman, Jr., Seth Quarles, Kalub Roach, Luke Collins, Jacob Quarles, Kara Newman, Lydia Newman, Emily Rose Collins and 6 great grandchildren; brother, Fred "Speedy" Shook; sisters, Geneva Chastain, Barbara Collins and Marie Collins.

Friends may call the residence of Lisa and Tim Quarles, 3329 Elberton Hwy., Lincolnton, GA or from 7 until 9 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
