Thomson, GA-Cora Hendricks Prather, 79, entered into rest on May 6, 2014.
Mrs. Prather was born in Crawfordville, Georgia and was the daughter of the late John Hendricks and the late Ola Vandiver Hendricks. She lived in Thomson most of her life, worked as a seamstress at Thomson Company and retired from DICO.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Prather and wife Paula; daughters, , Lynn Akers and husband, Bobby , Jean Prather; brother, J.L. Hendricks; and sisters, Mertie Hendricks, and Margaret Murphy and 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock p.m., Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
