Cora Kirkland Jones

Mrs. Cora Kirkland Jones, 89 formerly of Martinez entered into rest Saturday, May 27, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Loco Baptist Church, Lincoln County. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jones, daughter of the late Barney J. and Annie Reynolds Kirkland, was a native of Lincoln County. She had lived in Martinez most of her life and retired from King Mill, Augusta. Also, she had volunteered at University Hospital, served as secretary for the Martinez Community Center and was a member of Loco Baptist Church. Her husband, Samuel Ray Jones, Sr., preceded her in death.
