Thomson, GA- Mrs. Connie G. Reid, 69, of Longleaf  Drive entered into rest July 6, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 09, 2013 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.  Jon Richards officiating. Interment will be private.

Mrs. Reid was born in Augusta, Georgia and lived in the CSRA most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Carl C. Wilson and the late Frances C. Wilson. Mrs. Reid was  retired from Kmart Stores and was a homemaker. She was a member of Raysville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Jack Reid; son, Donnie Ray; daughter, Carla Ray James and husband, Doug; 3 grandchildren, Rusty James, Tyler James and Diana Ray; step children, Steven B. Reid, April R. Reid, Matthew B. Reid; nieces, Amanda Bedgood, Julia Bedgood and special family friend, Renee Frank. Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry Bedgood and Ronnie Bedgood.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
