MR. CLEMON ALBERT THIGPEN 79 of Ridge Rd. Thomson, GA entered into rest August 9, 2007 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Waistel Langham Thigpen.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Drawdy officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Ben Thigpen, Christopher Thigpen, Phillip Wilkerson, Adam Thigpen, Matthew McEver, Brandon Waller ,Josh Smith.

Mr. Thigpen was born in Glascock County but lived most of his life in McDuffie County He was the son of the late George Thigpen and the late Mary Lou Hobbs Thigpen. Mr. Thigpen was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean conflict and served in Occupational Germany. He was a retired farmer and the owner and operator of Thigpens Service Station for 39 years. Mr. Thigpen was also a member of Second Baptist Church , the Woodmen of The World and a member of the VFW for over 40 years.

Agnes Garner , Camak,GA
Georgia B. Reese, Camak,GA
