Christopher "Chris" Edwin Etterle, 51, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on October 9, 2022. Chris was born in Augusta, Georgia on September 26, 1971, grew up in Evans, Georgia and attended Evans High School.  He was self-employed and worked as a craftsman.  Chris was Baptist by faith and a member of Sharon Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking, wildlife and spending time with his family.

Chris was preceded in death by his son, Logan Connor Etterle.  His survivors include his wife, Lisa Toole Etterle; his parents, Eddie Etterle and Karen Etterle; his son, Blake Etterle (Anastasia) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; his stepson Russell Sammons (Stephanie) of Adrian, Georgia; his stepdaughter, Emily Sammons of Sylvania, Georgia his brothers, Jason Etterle (Ashley) and Kevin Etterle; his sister, Mary Whittle (Ryan) and nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Sharon Baptist Church, 6262 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia, and his Memorial Service, being officiated by Rev.
