Mr. Chris Bentley, 31 of Lincolnton died Thurs., Nov. 5, 2009 at his residence. Graveside service will be held Tues., Nov. 10, 2009 at 4 p.m. at Salem Baptitst Church Cemetery with Revs. Paul Reviere and Deryl Odom officiating. Mr. Bentley, a lifelong resident of Lincoln County was 1995 graduate of Lincoln County High School. He was a roofing contractor. Surivors: Mother and step father: Louise Hardy and George III "Pete" Grimaud, Washington,GA Father and step mother: Edwin and Dory Bentley, Grandmother: Dorothy Bentley Son: Thomas Cole Lee Bentley Daughter: Kaitlyn Marie Bentley The Mother of his children: Krystal N. Young all of Lincolnton. Step Brothers: Lil' Joe Grabb, Jonathan Grabb, Jessie Grabb, and Joshua Grabb of Lincolnton; Josh Grimaud and IV Gramaud of Washington. Step Sisters: Brandy Knight of Florida; Dia Winfrey and Andrea Strother, both of Washington. Aunts, Uncles and Cousins He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harold L. Bentley and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Hardy. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made c/o Farmers State Bank for Kaitlyn and Cole Bentley.
