Christine Hooks Branch

Mrs. Christine Hooks Branch, 73, of Pineview Drive entered into rest June 1, 2013 at University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Macedonia United Methodist Church with Rev. David Sisler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews.

Mrs. Branch was born in Warthen, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Eulas H. Hooks and the late Minnie Rowland Hooks. She graduated from Baldwin High School and attended Georgia College for Women in Milledgeville. Mrs. Branch worked as a legal secretary for Jefferson County Probate Court and retired as assistant manager from Badcock in Thomson. She was a member of the Camellia City Lion's Club and a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. Mrs. Branch was a faithful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 51 years, Don L. Branch; son, Delston H. Branch, II and wife, Bonnie of Washington, GA; daughter, Donna B. Stillinger and husband, Victor of Thomson, GA; sister, Joanne Nardi of North Augusta, SC and grandchildren, Grace Ann Branch and Grant Stillinger as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Children's Home, the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.

Friends may call the residence of Donna and Victor Stillinger, 1491 Cedar Creek Drive, Thomson, Georgia or from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
