CHRIS PELLY PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR MR. CHRIS PELLY, 57 of Buffington Rd., Thomson, GA entered into rest August 14, 2009 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Janet Pelly. Memorial Celebration services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 17, 2009 at The Old Frontier with Chris Smith officiating. Mr. Pelly was born in Philadelphia, PA and has lived in Thomson for the past 11 years. He was the son of the late Daniel Pelly and Regina Grimaldi Pelly. Mr. Pelly was the Public Works Director for McDuffie County and participated in Leadership McDuffie. He received the Vice Chairperson of the Year award in 2004 from the Georgia Utilities Council. Mr. Pelly was also a charter member of the Old Frontier and Cowboy Church where he served as an outreach minister.
