Charles Gregory Rogers

Charles Gregory Rogers passed away September 6, 2024, at the age of 59 years old.

Known to many as Chuck, to his family, he was known as Greg.  Greg did not choose to live an easy life, but I believe he lived a full life.  It was very colorful to say the least, and I am sure each one acquainted with him will have their own stories to share.  Greg was hard to like a lot of the time but easy to love.  He loved people as much as he could, tried to protect them in his own way, and he did not care what anyone else thought about it. He lived his life his way, to the very end, and if anyone else did not like it, well they could just get over it.  Greg was mad with our Lord for a lot of years for things I don't know, but I want to think he laid down that anger this last year and embraced Him.  Mom and I would sometimes find him listening to gospel music.  Greg loved music, and it was one of his happy places.  He was always up for a good time, and he could charm the socks off you when he wanted to.

Greg did not want a funeral, and his last wishes were to be cremated and for his ashes to be spread over a body of water leading to the ocean so that he could travel.  We will honor those wishes. Rest easy big brother.  We love you and will never forget you.

He is predeceased by his father, Walter H "Buster" Rogers, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a nephew. Charles is survived by his mother, Pat Wilson Graham; sister, Jennifer Kangas; brother, Bobby Graham; sister Joyce Garcia and their spouses; sons, Juston Rogers, Joshua Rogers, Jacob Rogers and their spouses; 9 grandchildren; ex-wife, Shelia Wills, a close friend Fred Reid and other extended family and friends.
