Appling, GA - Mr. Charles Edward Renfro, 82, of White Tiger Road entered into rest September 4, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann White Renfro.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of the church and William Paschal.
Mr. Renfro was born in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Charles Edward Renfro, Jr. and the late Eva Godwin Renfro. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and after retiring from the U. S. Army, he became a Civil Service Electronics Instructor at Fort Gordon until his retirement. Mr. Renfro was a faithful and devoted member of Sharon Baptist Church and served as a Deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Renfro; sons, Charles "Chuck" Edward Renfro, IV and his wife, Pam of Appling and Danny Renfro of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Charles "Chad" E. Renfro, V and wife, Rachel and William Renfro, and great granddaughter, Sadie Claire Renfro. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Christen Renfro.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 7, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
