Dearing, GA- Mr. Cecil W. Hobbs, 80, entered into rest December 3, 2016 at Thomson Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Hobbs was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, Georgia and was the son of the late James Hobbs and the late Sallie Huff Hobbs. He was retired from Thomson Company with over 20 years service. Mr. Hobbs was a member of Fort Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Brenda Hardy, Joyce Garner, Nancy Clark, Marsha Arrington; Gene Hobbs and Vernon Harrison.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Tuesday, December 6 ^th in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson with Rev. Boyd Reeves officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
