Mrs. Catherine R. LeRoy

Mrs. Catherine Rickerson LeRoy, 92, formerly of Ralph Goolsby Rd., entered into rest on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Lake Crossing Health Care in Appling.

Funeral services will be held at Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 with Rev. Reese LeRoy & Rev. James James officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. LeRoy, a native of Richmond County, had worked most of her life in the textile industry.  She was a faithful member of Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church for over sixty years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Metz LeRoy, a son, Mark Allen LeRoy, and two daughters, Ann Sasser and Earnestine Fitzgerald.

She is survived by her sons:  Lamar LeRoy & wife Barbara of Lincolnton, Ronnie LeRoy & wife Beverly of Evans, Joe LeRoy & wife Kathy of Lincolnton; her daughters: Wanda Mouzon & husband Don of Tryon, NC and Katie Nixon of North Augusta.  Additionally she is survived by nine grandchildren along with a number of great-grandchildren and other relatives.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM at the church prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
