Catherine Elizabeth Allen, 42, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2022.

Catherine was born in Augusta, Georgia on July 17, 1980, grew up in Thomson and graduated from Thomson High School in 2002.  She was Christian by faith and a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. After graduation Catherine attended Georgia TASC and Soto. She loved baby dolls and having her picture taken with them. She also enjoyed her weekly outings to McDonald's with her special friend, Lynn Bishop. She loved outdoors and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Catherine was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie "Libby" Rivers Allen; her paternal grandfather, E. P. Allen; her maternal grandmother Catherine Rivers; her Uncle Nick Rivers and her Aunt Tasia Capps.  Her survivors include her father, Russell "Rusty" Keith Allen; her sister, Lauren Allen Jenkins (Bradley); her paternal grandmother, Reba Allen; her aunts and uncles, Vicki Jones, Wayne Jones and Jim Rivers (Robbie); her nieces Josie Elizabeth Jenkins and Bonnie Kate Jenkins and many cousins.

Her Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Georgia, and her Funeral Service, being officiated by Father Gregory Tsikerdanos will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the interment following at Westview Cemetery, Thomson, Georgia.  Pallbearers for the service are Tab Ansley, Guy Poss, Carson Ansley, Jason Rivers, Steve Kitchings and Payton Brooks.  Honorary pallbearers at the service will be Mackie Cartledge, Jim Rivers, Ed Darby and Jack Garrison.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
