Carolyn Barbee Keene

Thomson, Georgia-Mrs. Carolyn Barbee Keene, 75, of Scuffle Rd. entered into rest September 29, 2017.

Mrs. Keene was born in Cordele, GA to the late George Elzie Barbee and the late Dorothy Wright Barbee. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Arabi. Mrs. Keene lived in Thomson, GA for many years and was retired as an office and credit manager with Lowe's.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 30 years, Milton Keene; daughters, Runae Keene Watson and Jennifer Rebecca Jones both of Harlem, GA and sister, Bonnie Peavy of Columbus, GA and 5 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2017 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Chaplain Ellis Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
