Carolyn W Carter

Mrs. Carter, daughter of the late Hubert and Mattie Lee Nichols Whisnant, was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area. After 22 years of service as a lab technician at SRS, she retired in 2008 . She was a dedicated employee, friend to all that knew her and a mother to all of her nieces and nephews. Her interests included working in her yard and traveling all over the world. In recent years, she attended Matlock Baptist Church. She is survived by: Sisters: Trudy Bartlett, and husband, John, of Tullahoma, TN. Virginia Harris, Augusta Sarah Agnes Roberts, Hephzibah Ruby Morris, and husband, Zoble of Martinez Brothers: Lawrence Whisnant, and wife, Louise of Augusta Julius Whisnant, and Janice of Hephzibah Several nieces and nephews
