Carlos Wilbert Cooper
Evans- GA- Mr. Carlos Wilbert Cooper, 80, formerly of the Savannah area entered into rest November 16, 2013 at Doctor's Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Young officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Mr. Cooper was born in Glascock County, Georgia and was the son of the late James C. Cooper and the late Minnie Copeland Cooper. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was in the U. S. Army Reserves. Mr. Cooper was retired as a truck driver. He was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his daughters, Brenda Kay Davis of Evans, GA, Faye Edenfield ( J. C.) of Midway, GA, Glenda Haupt (Ken) of Springfield, GA, and Sue Glidewell ( James) of Lizella, GA; sister, Elizabeth Muns of Thomson, GA; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
