Mr. Carl Holden Hunnicutt Mr. Carl Holden Hunnicutt, age 77 of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, formally of Lincolnton, Georgia passed away August 17, 2015 at Wilkes Senior Village in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Lincolnton City Cemetery in Lincolnton, Georgia with Pastor Terry Bonds and Rev. Lanis Lewis officiating.  The family will receive from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service at Beggs Family Funeral Home in Lincolnton, Georgia. Mr. Hunnicutt was born April 27, 1938 in Gaston County, NC to Frank Sr. and Willie Hunnicutt. He was retired from Carolina Freight and Honey's Herring. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Lincolnton, Georgia. Mr. Hunnicutt was a Striper Guide, won many tournaments and was a successful business owner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Detter Hunnicutt. He was survived by a daughter; Cheryl Hunnicutt of Lincolnton, Georgia and one son; Brent Hunnicutt and wife Jackie of Purlear, North Carolina, two grandchildren; Brittany Eller and husband Josh, Kyle Teague, three brothers; Marshall Hunnicutt and wife Jackie of Gastonia, North Carolina, Frank Jr. and wife Edwina Hunnicutt of Belmont, North Carolina and Ralph and Betty Hunnicutt of Holden Beach, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly of God, 328 May Street, Lincolnton, Georgia or the Alzheimers Association, 4615 Dundas Drive Suite 103, Greensboro, NC 27407. Pallbearers will be Morris Jenkins, Chris Jenkins, Keith Goforth, Kyle Teague, Josh Eller and Lonnie Jordan.
