Calvin Fort, Jr.

Thomson, Georgia - Mr. Calvin Fort, Jr., 64, entered into rest February 18, 2016.

Mr. Fort was born in Guyton, GA and grew up in Grovetown, GA. He served in the U. S. Navy and was retired from the Nebraska State Department of Corrections. Mr. Fort was also a Baptist by faith. He was predeceased by his mother, Kathryn Elkins and a sister, Cynthia Hocutt.

Survivors include his father, Calvin Fort (Debra); daughter, Rose Marie Fort; sister, Janice Albayalde and brothers, James L. Fort and Mark E. Fort.

The memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2016 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel.
