Mr. James Frank (Butch) Mattison, III

Mr. James Frank (Butch) Mattison, III of Guillebeau Street, entered into rest on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Augusta University Medical Center.  Mr. Mattison, a longtime resident of Lincolnton, was an insurance agent with Franklin Insurance Company.  He was predeceased by his parents, James F. Mattison, Jr. and Margaret (Maggie) Franklin Mattison, as well as his brother, Samuel Thomas Mattison.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Rocky Branch Golf Course, 4711 Double Branches Road with Rev. Tripp Goodwin and Rev. Paul Reviere officiating.  The family will receive friends in the club house of Rocky Branch Golf Course from 6:00 pm until the hour of the memorial service.  The family respectfully requests that those attending wear casual or golf attire.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Guillebeau Mattison; two sons, James F. (Jim) Mattison, IV and wife, Janice and Harvey Guillebeau (Guil) Mattison and wife Christie; his daughter, Britt Mattison McKinney and husband, Mark; his sister, Peggy M. Peeler and husband Phil; along with his grandchildren: Colen Floyd Mattison, Julianne Mattison, Thomas Guil Mattison, James Patrick Mattison, Katherine Britt McKinney, and Robert Benjamin McKinney.
