Bruce Allen Welch StandardAero Aviation Gibson, GA. - Mr. Bruce Allen Welch, 58, of Bethel Acres Rd. entered into rest May 20, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012 from the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Gibson, GA. Pallbearers will be: Roger Neal, Mike Murdock, Bobby Odenweller, Ken Johns, Gary Hadden, Keith Hadden and Chris Jones. Mr. Welch grew up in Augusta, Georgia and later made his home in Glascock County, Georgia. He was an Aircraft Mechanic with StandardAero Aviation of Augusta for 31 years and was a member of First Baptist Church, Gibson. Mr. Welch was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He was a devoted husband, father and son. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Welch; daughters, Rachel Welch, Leah Welch and her fiance', Thomas Davis,; mother, Eugenia Dutton all of Gibson, GA; step children, Randy Cottone, Jennifer Lynch both of Augusta, GA and Jessica Grubbs of McCormick, SC and brother, Steve Welch of Appling, GA.
