Mrs. Brenda Holloway Sanders, 78 of Lincolnton entered into rest on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital, Augusta.

Born on Christmas Eve 1947 in Lincoln County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Boykin and Joyce Freeman Holloway and grew up in the Double Branches Community of Lincoln County, where she spent the majority of her life. She attended Lincolnton High School where she graduated in 1966.

Throughout her life, faith held a central place in Brenda's heart. Though she had not attended Martin's Crossroads Congregational Church in recent years, her unwavering belief in Jesus Christ remained a guiding force for her.

Brenda faced the challenges of life with resilience. After the untimely passing of her first husband, Lloyd Franklin Danner, when he was just 34 years old, she bravely raised their two small children, Amy and Marc, who were only 10 and 8 at the time. Later, she married Mickey Sanders, and together they created cherished memories camping in Pigeon Forge, Surfside Beach, and locally at Wildwood Park and Pointes West. Mickey's passing in 2010 marked another profound change in Brenda’s life, yet she continued to radiate warmth and love.

As a devoted mother and grandmother, Brenda took immense joy in attending events for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, nurturing their passions and celebrating their milestones until her health began to decline. Professionally, she served as a secretary for several organizations, including One Way Christian School, Lincoln County Magistrate's Office, ASCS, and the Cullars Inn.

Brenda had a passion for reading, and in recent years, she found delight in the books of Danielle Steele. Her enthusiasm extended to sports, particularly as a loyal follower of the South Carolina Gamecocks in any sport they were playing, as well as supporting Little League and the Little League World Series. Even boxing captured her interest, showcasing her diverse hobbies.

Brenda had such an approachable nature and friendly disposition that suited her well in the different places that she worked during her career as well as in her leisure. It was said that she never met a stranger. She particularly cherished her time on Facebook, connecting with others in her Cooking with Seniors Group, where she shared recipes and family memories, forging bonds that transcended distance.

Brenda Holloway Sanders will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and her joyful spirit that touched many lives. She leaves behind a cherished legacy of love that will forever be carried in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter Amy Seymour and husband Roby; son, Marc Danner and wife Sonja; grandchildren, Kerri Parton and husband Preston, Drew Seymour and wife Taylor, Macy Harrison and husband Alan; great- grandchildren, Ethan Parton, Jaxon Courtright, Anneliese Courtright, Juke Seymour, Waylon Harrison and her brother Eddie Holloway. She was also preceded in death by her great- granddaughter ViviAnne Parton,
