Dearing, GA – Mr. James Robert "Bobby" Willingham, 84, of Old Augusta Rd., entered into rest December 9, 2015 at Doctors Hospital.

Mr. Willingham was born in Lexington, SC to the late James Willingham and the late Ruby James Willingham. He grew up in Augusta, GA and lived in McDuffie County for over 50 years. He was a retired self-employed brick mason. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed looking out for others. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Rooks and brother, James James.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Martha Whitaker Willingham; his sons, Olin Cowart (Mary) of Augusta and Kyle Willingham (Heather) of Dearing; his daughters, Tracy Willingham of Augusta and Lynn Hickey (Bill) of Thomson; beloved cousin, Delores O'Connor; sisters, Betty Commaner of Oklahoma City, OK, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many others who loved him.

Graveside services will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Westview Cemetery with Brother Jack McCorkle officiating. Pallbearers will be: Joey Akers, Chris Story, John Waller, Edwin Story, Carl Story, and Jack Garrison.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.

Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Georgia is in charge.
