Mr. Bobby L. Williams, 78, of Hwy 80, Warrenton, GA entered into rest March 11, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Williams was a lifelong resident of Glascock County, GA and was the son of the late Harry Lee Williams and the late Cornelia Land Williams. He was a 1954 graduate of Warren County High School, attended Georgia Military College and served in the U. S. National Guard. He worked with Southern Natural Gas Company for many years and was a retired farmer and cattleman. Mr. Williams was a member of Little Brier Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Adel Neal Williams; son, Madison Williams and wife, Lindsay; sister, Virginia W. Johnson; special nephews to whom he was like a father, Juddy Johnson and Jason Johnson; grandchildren, Roe Williams, Lennon Williams and John Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock, a.m., Friday, March 13, 2015 at Little Brier Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
It is the family's desire that memorial contributions be made to the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, Attn: Julia Massey 3580 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Thomson, GA 30824.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge.
