Mr. Bobby Leon Dawson, 76, Washington, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on November 9, 2021.

Bobby was born in Payton, Oklahoma on May 28, 1945, grew up and lived most of his younger life in Arvin, California, and moved to Washington Georgia with the opening of Paper Pak Industries and was a truck driver by trade for many years before his retirement.  He was Baptist by faith and a member of First Baptist Church Washington.  Bobby enjoyed camping and boating, loved people, was very humble and especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Mr. Dawson is preceded in death by his parents, Matson Alvin Dawson and Thelma Dorine Bentley Dawson and his son, Christopher Loyd Dawson.  His survivors include his, wife of 52 years, Cheryl Dawson; his sisters and extended family.

His Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Washington, Georgia.  Friends will be received at the church following the service.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
