BLANCHE KING McCORD HOMEMAKER Mrs. Blanche King McCord of Cadley Community in Warren County passed away on October 27, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton W. McCord, a son Gene McCord, a stepson Elliott McCord and her sister Jeanette Weaver. Mrs. McCord was born in Greene County on July 25, 1919 to Edgar Roland and Lola Bruce King, however she lived most of her life in Warren County. She was a homemaker and a member of New Providence Baptist Church where she taught the Beginner Sunday School class for almost twenty years. At a later date she was teacher of the Junior Class for ten years. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday October 31,2008 at New Providence Baptist Church with Pastor Ray Rhodes Jr. officiating. Survivors include a stepdaughter, Nancy McCord of Loveland, Colorado and a nephew, Greg Weaver of Alpharetta GA. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8PM Thursday at the funeral home.
