Billy Wayne McCoy, 61, Hephzibah, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on February 17, 2025.

He was born in Augusta, Georgia, grew up in Warren County and resided in McDuffie County since the age of 16.  Billy was a self-employed mechanic by trade. He was Baptist by faith and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, G. B. "Bill" McCoy, Jr. and Juanita Stewart.  His survivors include his devoted wife of 36 years, April McCoy; his brothers, G. B. "Buck" McCoy, III (Patricia) and William Dean McCoy; his sisters, Rhonda McCoy and Mary Ann Frails and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
