Evans, GA – Mr. Bill Presnell, 73, entered into rest September 24, 2018.

Mr. Presnell was born in Boone, North Carolina, the son of the late James Woodlow Presnell and the late Gladys Oakes Palmer. He had lived in Thomson, GA for many years prior to moving to Evans, GA.  Mr. Presnell served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Air Force.  He was retired from retail management for Dollar General.  Mr. Presnell was a Baptist by faith, a past member of Sharon Baptist Church, and  later a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing and golf.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Mabel Hopkins Presnell; son, Damon Presnell of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Shannon Presnell of Roanoke, VA; step-daughters, Carolyn Giddens of Martinez, GA and Cindy Scoggins of Haddonfield, N.J.; step-grandson Jonathan Reames of Dallas, TX; and step-granddaughter LouraAnn Mode of Tampa, FL.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018 in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Appling, GA with Pastor Floyd Harrison officiating.
