Betty J. Walker

Mrs. Walker, a native of Mobile, Al., grew up in the Augusta area. She was a retired produce manager from Food Lion after 21 years of service and was last employed at the Grovetown location. She and Joe, her husband of 26 years, moved from Martinez to Lincoln County 4 years ago. Living near the lake, fishing, boating and spending time with her flowers were all things that she enjoyed very much. Her father, Wyman Jackson, Sr., and brother, Jimmy Jackson. Survivors: Husband: Joe Walker, Sr. Son: William Walker, and fiance' Paige Williamson of Lincolnton Step-son: Joe A. Walker, Jr., Martinez Daughters: Janice Bussell, Langley, SC Stephanie Weatherford and husband, Ray, Augusta Step-daughter: Kimberly Parrish, Lincolnton Mother: Myrtis J. White Brothers: Raymond Jackson and David Jackson of Langley, SC Sisters: Catherine Jackson, Langley, SC Sylvia Moore, Blythe, Ga Grandchildren: Ryan Walker, Ray Weatherford, Jr., Justin Weatherford, Hannah and Hailey Bussell, Elizabeth Parrish, Adalynne, Madyson, and Trevor Dutton. Pets: Rascal, Rambo, and Suzie Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 24th from 7pm- 9 pm. at the funeral home. No services are planned at this time.
