Betty Jean (Partridge) Brown

Ms. Betty Jean Partridge Brown, 82, of Georgia Highway 220 West, passed away on June 15, 2023, surrounded by her children at her residence.

A graveside service is planned for Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 2:30 PM at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Betty, the daughter of the late Daniel and Ruby Story Partridge, has lived her entire life in Lincoln County. After finishing school, she married and started a family. She has worked in the textile industry as a seamstress and also was a secretary at the Hardin Law Firm in Washington. Ms. Brown loved her family dearly and had a great love for animals, especially her horse, dog and cat.   She loved Elvis and cherished the fact that she had visited Graceland.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, David Partridge.  Her survivors include her son, Michael Brown and wife, Stephanie, of Cumming, Georgia, her daughter, Karen Scott of Lincolnton, Georgia, her sister, Edna Ashmore, also of Lincolnton, her grandchildren, Chance Scott, Zach Scott and wife, Renee, Gage Scott and wife, Jennifer, Evan Brown and Grayson Brown and her great grandchildren Christopher Scott and Abel  Scott.

Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Avenue, Lincolnton, is honored to serve the family of Ms. Betty Jean Partridge Brown.
