Betty L. Morton

Mrs. Morton, a native of Wilkes County, had lived in California and in Lincoln County until returning to Wilkes County 14 years ago to live with her daughter. She was a retired seamstress and member of Rock United Methodist Church. Her husband, Walt Morton and parents, Clarence Stamey and Ruth Psalmond Hopkins, preceded her in death. Survivors: Two daughters: Teresa Price, and husband, Vince, of Rayle Debra Harper, Newport News, Va. Brothers: Charles R. "Rusty" Hendricks, Jr., Sylvania, Ga. Sister: Pegy Cason, Martinez, Ga 8 Grandchildren 7 Great- grandchildren
