Thomson, GA - Mamie D. "Betty" Bryant of Thomson Manor Nursing Home entered into rest Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Heartland Hospice Hospital. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday June 13, 2009 at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Don Widner officiating. Ms. Bryant, a native of Glascock County. Betty was preceded in death by her father, Arthur E. Bryant and mother, Daisy Mae Vickery, a brother Arthur O. "Bud" Bryant and a sister Ellen Way. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include her three half-brothers, Charles Roy Land, Thomson, Bill Land, Social Circle, and Gene Land, Washington; a nephew, Warren Keith Bryant, Martinez; a niece, Angela K. Bryant, Evans and several other nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Mt Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
