Bertha Mae Johnson Augusta, GA - Bertha Mae Johnson, 83, beloved wife of the late Arlis T. Johnson entered into rest August 24, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 27, 2010 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown with Rev. Alan Tillman officiating. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Laurens, SC but lived in Augusta, GA most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Dock Hughes and the late Eva Brown Hughes. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. Survivors include her children, Lamar Johnson and Sheba Johnson both of Grovetown, GA; sisters, Alice Cotney, Aiken, SC, Sara Taylor, Mary Brown and Loree Sumerel all of Laurens,SC; grandchildren, Zachary Plexico, Jason Johnson (Sherry), Carla Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kayla Harner, Carson Johnson and Michelle Johnson.
