Bernice Wood

Mrs. Wood, daughter of the late Robert Lee and Loree Paradise Brown, was born in Lincoln county and was a retired seamstress. She was a member of Loco Baptist Church where she had taught the Senior Adult Sunday School Class until her health failed. Her daughter, Judy Thornton, and brothers, George Lee and Edmund Brown preceded her in death. Survivors: Husband: Carl E. Wood, Jr. Sons: Bernard Steve Goldman, Lincolnton; James C. "Kirk" Goldman, Tyrone, Ga; Robert H. "Bobby" Goldman, Flowery Branch, Ga.; William Allen Goldman Daughter: Julia Goldman Binner, Lincolnton Stepchildren: Donna Parks, Billy Wood, both of Covington, and Carol Wood, Toccoa 19 Grandchildren 16 Great- Grandchildren 1 Great- great grandchild
