Bernice Leaphart Holloway

Mrs. Bernice Leaphart Holloway, 80, of McCormick S.C. passed away on January 19 at Self Regional Hospital with her family by her side.

Mrs. Holloway was born in Lexington county and lived in McCormick  most of her life. In 1998, she retired from SCPRT - Hickory Knob State Park after 22 years of service. Also, she was a member of Republican United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald; daughters, Pam Holloway of Dallas TX and Sandy McKinney of McCormick, SC; sister, Janice Roland and brothers, James Leaphart  of Lexington SC and Claude Leaphart of Iva, SC; grandsons, Thomas McKinney III and wife, Crystal and Clifton McKinney and wife, Samantha and four great- grandchildren, Thomas, Madeline, Landon and Haven.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23 at 1:00 p.m. at Republican Methodist Church in McCormick, SC.  The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall beginning at noon until the hour of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Republican Methodist Church, McCormick SC or Habitat for Humanity.
