Benny Ray Haywood

Mr. Benny Ray Haywood,  58, of Wrens, GA entered into rest January 12, 2021.

Benny was born in Augusta, GA to the late Benny D. Haywood and the late Sybil Jones Haywood. He grew up in Clearwater, SC and graduated from Langley-Bath-Clearwater High School.  Benny worked in outdoor recreation with Fort Gordon MWR for many years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and racing and was an avid Clemson Tiger football fan.  He was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Rohl, Brandy Simons (Andrew); Dawn Haywood, Katlyn Haywood; sister, Sherry Smith (Terry); nephew and niece, Jeremy C. Smith and Teesha Smith Stallings; and grandchildren Gracie Kate Rohl, Hunter Simons, Abram Rohl, Andy Simons and Paisley Smith.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC with Rev. Brandon L. Key officiating.

Per CDC requirements the family will be observing social distancing and masks are requested. Due to the current national health concerns, the family would appreciate your phone calls, cards, texts, and e-mails.
