Sandra Rebecca "Becky" Tucker

Norwood GA. - Mrs. Becky Tucker, 74, entered into rest November 7, 2018.

Mrs. Tucker, born in Washington, Georgia, grew up in Thomson, and was a long-time resident of Norwood.  She was the daughter of the late Harold Edmunds and the late Winnifred Jennings Edmunds.  Mrs. Tucker was a 1962 graduate of Thomson High School.  She was a member of Norwood Baptist Church, a president of WMU, very active in the Warrenton Garden Club and had served on the state board of the Garden Club of Georgia.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was predeceased by her husband, Billy Aldred Tucker; and brother, Jack Edmunds.

Survivors include her sons, Randy Tucker (Lori) of Evans, GA, Rod Tucker (Anne) of Appling, GA, and Stacy Tucker (Leslie) of Norwood, GA; daughter, Meg Williams (Steven) of Avera, GA; sisters, Jane Edmunds and Kaye Howard, both of Warrenton; 7 grandchildren, Will Tucker (Dakota), Logan Tucker, Susie Williams, Lucy Williams, Tucker Williams, Caroline Tucker, and Lillie Streets; and special family friend, Beth Hinman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Norwood Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Harwell, Dr. William Brown and Rev. Frank Thigpen officiating.  Interment will follow in Scruggs Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Stevie Williams, Tucker Williams, Will Tucker, Logan Tucker, Sam Mitts, Charlie Hall, Spencer Wood, and Barrett Samuels.  Honorary pallbearers are the Warrenton Garden Club.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
