Barney Zellars, Jr.

Barney Zellars, Jr. 48 of Zellars Rd. entered into rest on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his residence.  A lifelong resident of Lincoln County, he was the son of Barney Zellars, Sr. and the late Sarah Pascall Zellars.  He was an auto mechanic and member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.  Mr. Zellars was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Perry Lee Zellars.

Survivors in addition to his father and step-mother, Frances Fair Zellars, include a son, Bartrez Zellars of Augusta; two brothers: Curtis Pascall and Lemuel Zellars of Lincolnton; three sisters: Elaine Zellars of Maryland, Yvonne Zellars Jones of Hephzibah, and Jackie Zellars Riley of Texas, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2:00pm at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church with interment following in the churchyard cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, November 29, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
