Barbara Washburn

Mrs. Barbara Springfield Washburn, 76 of Moss St. , died Tuesday, October 16th at her residence. Mrs. Washburn, daughter of the late Clarence and Sallie Payne Springfield, was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and a retired dental secretary. She had been a resident of Lincolnton for many years and volunteered at Lincoln County Library, Elijah Clark State Park, and Lincoln County Food Pantry. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert B. Schnelker. She is survived by her daughters: Sindy L. Goble and Holly Newberry, both of Lincolnton Her long time companion: Jerry Lindner 5 Grandsons 6 Great- grandchildren A visitation is planned for Thursday, Oct. 25th from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to: Secret Santa, Wounded Warrior Project, or the Humane Society.
