Barbara Mynatt Judson

Mrs. Barbara Mynatt Judson, 75, of Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest on June 5, 2021.

Mrs. Judson was born in Waynesboro, Georgia on July 20, 1945, grew up in Thomson, Georgia, graduated from Thomson High School, and moved to Augusta in 1975.  She was the daughter of the late Leon Mynatt and Sybil Quick Mynatt.  Mrs. Judson was a homemaker, loved her pets, wine, chocolate, talking to her friends on the phone, socializing and especially loved her family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Mynatt and Sybil Quick Mynatt and her son, Andy Chapman.  Her survivors include her husband, Joe Judson; her sons, Jason Judson (Amy) and Lee Chapman (Deborah); her daughter, Kaila Judson (Marshall); and her six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Beggs Funeral Home, on June 13, 2021 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service.  The Celebration of Life Memorial will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia.    Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.  In honor of the colorful personality, Barbara embraced, feel free to discard the traditional black attire and come celebrate the brightness of her life in cheerful colors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local animal shelter or the American Cancer Society

Per CDC requirements, the family will be observing social distancing, and masks are requested and appreciated.  Due to the current national health concern, the family would appreciate phone calls, cards, texts, and e-mails.
