Barbara B. Bullock

Barbara B. Bullock Thomson, GA-Mrs. Barbara B. Bullock, 83, of Fluker Street entered into rest June 30, 2015. Mrs. Bullock was born in Neeses, SC, and lived in Thomaston and Dublin, GA for many years before moving to Thomson in 1970. She was a retired Registered Nurse with 50 years of service in the medical field as well as teaching. Mrs. Bullock was a devoted member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Thomson. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, sewing and loved spending time with her family at the Lake House. Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by her father, Paul Bonnette; mother, Virginia Bolin McKie; step father, Charlie McKie; sister, Dr. Sherrilyn McKie Hatch and husbands, Burton B. Barmore, Jr. and William G. Bullock. Survivors include her sons, Burton B. Barmore, III of Grovetown, GA, Benjamin B. Barmore and wife, Peggy, Brian B. Barmore and wife, Lynn all of Thomson, GA; daughter, Bonne B. Sapough and husband, Roy of Clarkesville, GA; sisters, Laura B. Waites of Lexington, SC, Paula B. Hughes of Tallahassee, FL, Charlene Petlick of Greenland, NH, and Marge Pingel of Colorado Springs, CO; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock p.m., Thursday, July 2nd in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Father Erwin Veale as officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. It is the family's desire that in addition to flowers, memorial contributions be made to Holy Cross Episcopal Church, P. O. Box 211, Thomson, GA 30824. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Georgia is in charge.
