Warrenton, GA – Mrs. Barbara Jean Ansley, 77, of Ansley Rd. went to be with her savior on June 13, 2018 at Augusta University.

Mrs. Ansley was born in Covington, GA to the late James Arthur Burgamy and the late Ruth Askew Burgamy. She lived in Warren County most of her life and was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time in the North Georgia Mountains. Mrs. Ansley was a member of Long Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ansley was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Ansley.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 60 years, Kenneth Ansley; sons, Jeff Ansley (Pamela), Pat Ansley (Tracy) all of Warrenton, GA, Rev. Jim Ansley (Leslie) of Cleveland, GA, Kip Ansley (Tanya) of Union Point, GA; sister, Judy Froelich of Jewell, GA; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Long Creek Baptist Church in Warren County, GA with Rev. Chris Wasson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
