Annie Jane (Paradise) Chastain

Mrs. Annie Jane Chastain, 89 formerly of Hephzibah Church Rd. entered into rest on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Lake Crossing Health Care, Appling.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincoln County with Rev. Seaborn Dell officiating.

Joshua Gay, Matthew Gay, Jamie Chastain, Adam Chastain, Marcus Matthews, John Wheeler, and Billy Snellings will be serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 1 pm until 2:30 pm and the will go in procession to the cemetery.

Mrs. Chastain, daughter of the late Albert and Lizzie Dozier Paradise, was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. She was a retired seamstress and member of Greenwood Baptist Church. Her son, William E. "Yogi" Chastain, along with siblings, Thomas Paradise, Joyce Fortson and Evelyn Holloway, preceded her in death.

Brother: Albert Paradise, Jr and wife Velma of Augusta
