Annie (Patterson) Hardwick

Annie Hardwick, a beacon of warmth and love, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024, at the age of 88, in Pickens, South Carolina. Born on April 15, 1936, in Augusta, Georgia, Annie was a daughter to the late Adolphus and Gracie Reid Patterson. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness and the strength of the human spirit. Annie spent her life dedicated to the well-being of her family and friends. She took great pride in her role as a homemaker, a title she wore with grace and dignity. Her home was always filled with laughter, the aroma of her delicious cooking, and an open door to anyone in need of comfort or company. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy continues through her beloved grandson, Tyler Maddox. Annie instilled in him the values of family, hard work, and compassion. Tyler's achievements and character are a living tribute to the love and guidance she provided.  She is also survived by her sisters-in-law from Augusta, Mary Lois Patterson and Anna Paterson and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Earl Maddox, Sr., and her sons, Earl Maddox Jr. and Paul Maddox, as well as her husband, Willis Hardwick. As we bid farewell to Annie Hardwick, we celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will remain a guiding light to all who loved her, a reminder of the kindness and care that can adorn a life well-lived.

No service is planned at this time.
