ANNIE LEE GILMER HOMEMAKER Mrs. Annie Lee Hill Gilmer of Wright-Reese Rd. Warrenton, GA entered into rest April 15, 2009 at Thomson Manor. She was the beloved wife of Millard "Pete" Gilmer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2009 at Little Briar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Shane Chalker, Daniel Milburn, Matthew Milburn, Joey Gilmer, J. R. Gilmer, Billy Gilmer and Dave Gilmer. Mrs. Gilmer was born May 16, 1919 in Winder, GA and was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Alma McDonald Hill. She was a homemaker and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church in Commerce, GA. She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Survivors include: Husband - Millard "Pete" Gilmer- Warrenton, GA Daughter: Dorothy Ann Duke (the late Franklin Duke)- Jackson, GA Son: Toy David (Barbara) Roach- McDonough, GA 5 Grandchildren: Diane ( Jerry) Martin- Milner, GA , Toney( Lisa) Duke- Jackson, GA Michael (Alicia) Roach- Dallas, Dwayne (Deborah) Roach- McDonough and Allen Roach 9 Great-grandchildren: Melessa Mims, Crystal Bryant, Alicia Duke, Steven Duke, Anthony Duke, Jennifer Roach, Haley Roach, Adam Roach, Gabriella Roach 2 Great Great Grandchildren: MacKenzie Corley and Zackary Laster 4 Step-Children: Diane Chalker, Bobbie Jean Shellnut and Etta Ruth Cook and Ken Gilmer all of Thomson, GA 12 Step-Grandchildren and 10 Step- Great- Grandchildren Brothers and Sisters- in law: Faye Harrison, Dave (Gail) Gilmer, Maynard Gilmer and Darwin (Frances) Gilmer all of Warrenton And a large number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Thursday at the funeral home.
