Annie H. Davis

Mrs. Annie Hanks Davis, 70 of Baker Davis Rd., Lincolnton entered into rest on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2p.m. at Forward Church, Washington, Ga.

Mrs. Davis, daughter of the late James Franklin Hanks and Mary Ellen Cherry Hanks, was born on April 2, 1949 in Brunswick, Ga. She had been employed as a baker at Smoak's Bakery, Augusta , had lived in Lincoln County since 2001 and attended Forward Church. She and her husband, Curtis were married 52 years. They enjoyed travelling on mission trips throughout Central America.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Davis; sister, Betty Strickland of Augusta; brothers, Fred Hanks of Lincolnton and Ray Hanks of Florida.
