Biography

Mrs. Annie Hamilton Amerson, 90, of Red Haven Drive, entered into rest February 6, 2010 at University Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late William Thomas Amerson. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Burnley officiating. Mrs. Amerson was born in McDuffie County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late David M. Hamilton and the late Doner Reese Hamilton. She was a lifelong resident of Thomson and a Charter Member of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Tommie Ann Burnley and her husband, Tommy of Thomson, Ga; brother, Sterling Hamilton of Thomson, Ga; grandchildren, Tom Burnley and Tanya of Suwannee, Ga and Tim Burnley and Jennifer of Thomson, Ga; and great grandchildren, Hannah Burnley, Kyle Burnley, Jacob Burnley, Daniel Burnley and Blake Burnley. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 8, 2010 prior to and following the Memorial Services at the funeral home.
