Ann A. Shiver

Mrs. Ann A. Shiver, 82, of Whiteoak St. entered into rest March 25, 2016.

Mrs. Shiver was a native of Albany, Georgia and the daughter of the late Alvin Adams and the late Elizabeth Woods Adams. She was a homemaker and retired as a sales associate with Farmer's Furniture in Albany. Mrs. Shiver was a member of First Baptist Church, Thomson and a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shiver was predeceased by her husband, Erman C. "Josh" Shiver.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Stephen Shiver (Jennifer) of Evans, GA; daughters, Rhonda Beasley (Joel) of Marietta, GA, and Donna Kerr (Tommy) of Thomson, GA; sister, Ellen Fullington of Hanover, NH and grandchildren, Dr. Josh Kerr, Betsy Airgood, Jennifer Johnston, Allison Hughes, Lauren Shiver and Coley Shiver and great grandchildren, Sara Ellen Airgood, Natalie Johnston and Bennett Hughes.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock, Monday, March 28, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Thomson with Rev. David Lambert and Dr. Leonard Dupree officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany, GA with Rev. Steve Williams officiating.

Friends may call the residence of  Donna and Tommy Kerr, 216 Whiteoak Street, Thomson, GA.
